Boys' basketball: Etiwanda leading 29-21 at halftime

Etiwanda is shooting the lights out in the Southern Section Division 1AA final at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The sixth-seeded Eagles are six of six from three-point range and hold a 29-21 lead over top-seeded Mater Dei at halftime. Jordan McLaughlin has 10 points and Delewis Johnson has eight for the Eagles.

Stanley Johnson has 13 points and seven rebounds for the Monarchs, who are one of six from long range. 

A three-pointer by McLaughlin gave Etiwanda a 29-13 with 2:15 left in the second quarter, but Mater Dei closed the half on a 8-0 run.
