Boys' basketball: Elijah Brown is leading Mater Dei

Elijah Brown has scored 24 points to help Mater Dei take a 58-48 lead over Long Beach Poly after three quarters of an Open Division semifinal game at Mater Dei.

Brown made three free throws with 0.5 seconds left in the third quarter after being fouled. Poly had closed to within six points in the quarter. Roschon Prince has 22 points for Poly.
