Next week, there’s the Hard9 National Classic in Orange County that begins on Monday and the Boras Classic that begins on Tuesday in Orange County.

The Boras Classic resembles a who’s who of top teams in Southern California: Mater Dei, El Toro, Chatsworth, Vista Murrieta, Chaminade, Oaks Christian, Bishop Amat, El Camino Real, West Ranch, Loyola, Lakewood, Hart, Great Oak, JSerra.

The championship game is April 5 at JSerra, and the winner advances to face the best team from the Northern California bracket.

Pitching, pitching and more pitching will be required to make it through one tough game after another.

Also, the 20-team Dennis Gilbert Spring Baseball Classic will hold its championship game on Saturday at noon at the Dennis Gilbert Field at L.A. Southwest College.
