There should be no doubt who’s the ace pitcher at Anaheim Servite. It’s junior right-hander Ryan Alsworth, who last week shut out Mater Dei for seven innings and on Monday came back to strike out two and walk none in six innings during the Friars’ 6-2 Trinity League victory over JSerra.

‘He knows how to pitch,’ Servite Coach Jeff Sears said of Alsworth, who’s 3-0 and also has a save.
