Baseball: San Fernando wins tournament championship

Demonstrating that it has the pitching depth to make a run in the City Section Division I playoffs, San Fernando won the championship of the Las Vegas Durango tournament with a 5-2 win over Desert Oasis on Wednesday night.

Jose Haros threw a complete game, striking out 10 and walking one. Haros also had a single and home run.

San Fernando is 12-2 and will take a little time off until it resumes Valley Mission League play on April 3 against Granada Hills Kennedy.
