Three games and three shutouts by Studio City Harvard-Westlake pitchers at the National High School Invitational in Cary, N.C.

First there was Jack Flaherty, then Conor Cuse and on Friday, Hans Hansen came through with a three-hitter in the Wolverines’ 6-0 semifinal victory over Florida Venice. He struck out five and walked two.

Ezra Steinberg had a two-run single and Alex Horowitz and Arden Pabst had RBI singles for Harvard-Westlake (12-2), which will Santa Ana Mater Dei in Saturday’s 9 a.m. final. The game will be streamed live at USABaseball.com. It’s a rematch of last year’s final won by Mater Dei, 3-2, in eight innings.

Brian Ginsberg added two hits for Harvard-Westlake.

Hansen might want to move to North Carolina. He also threw a shutout in last year’s semifinals.
