Baseball: Ex-Chatsworth player Hayden Tsutsui is on hitting streak

March 29, 2013 |  7:01 am

Freshman Hayden Tsutsui is far from home. He used to be a catcher last season at Chatsworth High. Now he's playing catcher, first base and center field at Carleton College, an NCAA Division III school in Northfield, Minn. And he's crushing the ball.

Last week, he had multi-hit games in six games, going 19 for 28 with five doubles and three home runs.

He was named the MIAC player of the week.

He's batting .529 with 19 RBIs.
