Initial autopsy results for Justin Carr, a Harvard-Westlake swimmer who died Friday after collapsing in the school pool, indicate he suffered from cardiomyopathy, a weakening of the heart muscle that can result in sudden cardiac arrest, according to a statement from the school Sunday.

Harvard-Westlake is scheduled to hold an assembly Monday morning in honor of Carr, who was 16.
