Girls' volleyball: Redondo's Norene Iosia is national freshman of the year

Freshman setter Norene Iosia of Redondo has stamped herself as one of the top college prospects in Southern California.

She was named the freshman of the year in girls' volleyball by Prepvolleyball.com.

She helped lead Redondo to a 37-5 record and a spot in the state championship Division I match.
