Girls' soccer: El Camino Real moves closer to 12th City Section title

When it comes to girls' soccer in the City Section, Woodland Hills El Camino Real is on the verge of moving into a separate class.

The Conquistadores, trying to win a record 12th City title, defeated South East, 8-0, on Tuesday to advance to the Division I semifinals on Thursday against Birmingham.

Sophomore Jessica Weiss scored three goals and Peyton Cline had two goals.

In girls' Division II, Arleta advanced to the semifinals with a 4-1 win over University.
