Girls' basketball: St. Anthony's Kendall Cooper is McDonald's All American

Center Kendall Cooper from Long Beach St. Anthony has been selected to play for the West team in the McDonald's All American Game on April 3 in Chicago. She is the only representative from Southern California chosen to play in the girls' game.

Kelsey Plum from La Jolla Country Day was also selected.

The 6-foot-3 Cooper signed with Duke.
