Agoura guard Kim Jacobs opened the game with a three-pointer and kept right on shooting in the first half, making six of 16 field goals for 15 points and leading the Chargers to a shocking 32-17 advantage over top-seeded Gahr in the Southern Section Division 3AAA final at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The Chargers shot 45 percent from the floor on their way to outscoring Gahr 21-4 in the first quarter. The lead grew to 20 points in the second quarter before the Gladiators went on a late run led by point guard Jewelyn Sawyer, who has nine points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
