Athletic directors from a group of private schools met Monday at Loyola trying to discuss options for the formation of new leagues in 2014.

The focus is on coming up with new football leagues that would include Ventura St. Bonaventure and Westlake Village Oaks Christian.

The belief is that two of the leagues are expected to play in the Pac-5 Division. That would mean five or six-team leagues made up of the current Serra League teams _ Crespi, Bishop Amat, Loyola, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Alemany, plus St. Bonaventure, Oaks Christian, Chaminade, Gardena Serra and La Verne Damien.

Remember, it was only discussion and speculation.
