Compton, Leuzinger, Newbury Park to receive grants for sports programs

Compton, Leuzinger and Newbury Park are among 22 high school athletic programs that will receive grants from the Muscle Milk Recovery Grant Program. Muscle Milk received submissions from more than 600 high schools and is providing $250,000 in grants to help rebuild and revitalize sports programs.

Compton will receive nutritional products for its athletes.

Leuzinger will receive grant money to purchase football equipment.

Newury Park will receive grant money to help fund a new pole vault pit.
