What a head coaching debut it will be for volleyball Hall of Famer Randy Stoklos. He’s the new head coach at defending City Section champion Palisades and will make his debut on Feb. 27 with a 7 p.m. home match against Granada Hills in a rematch of last year’s championship match.

Palisades will honor some of its famous alumni before the match.

Palisades and Granada Hills are considered the favorites for this year’s Division I title. Stoklos’ son, Shane, a sophomore, could be one of the Dolphins’ top players. They also could start a freshman.
