Boys’ basketball: Palisades gets win over University

Palisades helped its chances for a second-place finish in the Western League by knocking off University, 60-56. Dakota Chambers scored 16 points.

Arvis Greene had 21 points and 20 rebounds for University. Westchester stayed unbeaten with a 60-23 win over Hamilton.

In the East Valley League, Grant defeated Chavez, 57-40, to win its 39th consecutive East Valley League game. The Lancers will play Poly on Friday night for the league title.

In the Northern League, Marshall clinched the championship with a 50-44 win over Lincoln. Alex Smith scored 16 points.

St. Anthony defeated St. Genevieve, 80-54. Eric Cooper scored 30 points. Brian Wright had 23 points.
