Etiwanda 51, Loyola 24: A smothering man-to-man defense led the Eagles (21-2) to their 19th consecutive victory. Loyola made just 10 of 37 shots. Jordan McLaughlin was the only player to reach double figures for either team with 11 points for Etiwanda.

Long Beach Poly 60, St. John Bosco 54: Roschon Prince made six consecutive free throws in the fourth quarter and finished with 19 points to lead the Jackrabbits, who shot 61% in the second half (11 of 18) after making just 21.9% of their shots in the first half.

Tyler Dorsey led St. John Bosco with 24 points. Jordan Bell scored 15 points for Poly and former St. John Bosco guard Kameron Murrell had 14 points. St. John Bosco played without Isaac Hamilton, who was held out of the game for undisclosed reasons.

‘We’re starting to get to the point where we can grind teams in the half court,’ Poly Coach Sharrief Metoyer said.

Concord De La Salle 59, Santa Ana Foothill 42: Arizona-bound Elliott Pitts scored 27 points, including nine for nine from the free-throw line, to lead the Spartans. Justin Davis had 13 points for Foothill (21-3).

Las Vegas Bishop Gorman 72, Orange Lutheran 60: With older brother Shabazz Muhammad of UCLA watching, Rashad Muhammad made a three-pointer with 26 seconds left in regulation to tie the game, and Bishop Gorman went on to secure an overtime victory.

Muhammad finished with 24 points. Orange Lutheran came back from a 14-point halftime deficit behind Kendall Lauderdale, who finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Fairfax 55, JSerra 52: Jonathan Brown made two free throws with 15 seconds left and finished with 17 points for Fairfax (18-9), which led by eight points at halftime. Reggie Theus Jr. had 15 points. JSerra made just two of 21 shots from three-point range. Johnnie Vassar had 16 points for JSerra (13-8).

Colony 57, Mission Viejo 55: A three-point play by Derric Green with 2:02 left broke a 51-51 tie and help Colony upset Mission Viejo, which played without standout point guard Evan Zeller (ankle injury). Everett Turner scored 24 points for Colony. Max Redfield and Chandler Hutchison had 15 points apiece for Mission Viejo.

Los Alamitos 68, Upland 41: In the first game of the day at Mater Dei as part of the Nike Extravaganza on Saturday, Los Alamitos had four players reach double figures in its victory. Wes Mitter had 13 points, Paul Kadletz and Khalik Washington had 12 apiece and Eyassu Worku added 10. Deangelo Stowers led Upland with 13 points.

Ocean View 88, Durango 68: Tyler Burch made 10 of 16 shots and finished with 24 points in Ocean View’s victory. Dillon Reise made eight of 12 shots and had 20 points. Kendall Small added 18 points and 12 rebounds. Tyler Watts led Durango with 26 points.
