Boys' basketball: Namon Wright picks up offer from UCLA

Junior guard Namon Wright from Pacific Hills has been offered a scholarship by UCLA, Coach Ivan Barahona said.

He's part of a rare three-guard trio that have all received college scholarship offers. Jahmel Taylor has committed to Washington and Marcus Jackson has signed with Rice.

Pacific Hills plays Brentwood on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Mater Dei in the Southern Section 4A championship game. Pacific Hills is seeking its fourth championship in the last seven years.
