Boys' basketball: It's a first for Los Angeles High
The No. 1 seed in the City Section Division III basketball playoffs is Los Angeles High, which hasn't been a top seed maybe ever.
"I'm happy we got it," Coach Andew Hunter said. "It doesn't make a difference. We still have to go one game at a time."
Los Angeles is 16-2 overall but hasn't been challenged in weeks after going 12-0 in the Southern League. That could be a problem and something Hunter will have to address during the playoffs.
Leading the Romans has been senior point guard Lenroy Butler and senior shooting guard Santiago Grady, who's averaging 20 points a game.
