Boys' basketball: Crenshaw wraps up Coliseum League title

For the fifth consecutive year, Crenshaw has won the Coliseum League championship after a 96-81 victory over Locke.

Birdel Hodge scored 27 points and Micah Winn added 21 points.

In the Western League, Westchester routed Fairfax, 68-47, to stay unbeaten in league. Matthew Grant had 12 points and Myles Stewart 11. Reggie Theus led Fairfax with 24 points.

Palisades defeated LACES, 58-39. Ammar Rehman scored 16 points. University defeated Hamilton, 66-56. Breamon Richard finished with 22 points and Victor Nwaba had 17.

In the West Valley League, El Camino Real defeated Granada Hills, 71-35. Mason Pollock led the Conquistadores with 12 points. Taft defeated Chatsworth, 72-49. Kris Yanku and Usama Zaid had 16 points apiece. Birmingham defeated Cleveland, 76-70. Iseah Rodgers scored 20 points and Samson Young had 12.

In the East Valley League, Poly defeated North Hollywood, 60-42, to set up a title showdown with Grant on Friday at Grant. Sal Gonzalez had 17 points, Eric Figueroa 12 and Cesar Reyes 11.
