Boys' basketball: Canyon's JoJo Ballestero doesn't just shoot threes

Senior JoJo Ballestero of Anaheim Canyon is known as one of the best three-point shooters in Orange County.

But he showed last Thursday night he can make a regular basket. That's what he did with seven seconds left to give Canyon a 66-65 victory over Santa Ana Foothill.

He has made 89 three-pointers and is averaging 18 points a game for a team that's 18-9 and opens play in the Southern Section Division 2A playoffs on Friday against visiting Serrano.
