In a commissioner’s message from the Southern Section’s Rob Wigod, the Southern Section Executive Committee has created a sub-committee to study the issue of undue influence in high school sports, better known as illegal recruiting.

Good luck on that.

There is a perception, right or wrong, that the Southern Section has a hard time enforcing its undue influence rules. And Wigod states, ‘What is difficult is attempting to prove undue influence when it has occurred.’

Yes, and it’s about time a crack down occurred.
