Football: No rest for junior linebacker Christian Holland

Monday is a holiday, but that didn't prevent junior linebacker Christian Holland of Bellflower St. John Bosco from waking up early to get a workout in.

It's that kind of work ethic that separates average from good.

Holland, 6 feet, 190 pounds, is trying to get bigger and stronger. He has speed, quickness and toughness and should be a major contributer for one of the best defenses this fall.
