Football: Mater Dei’s Thomas Duarte to visit USC

Thomas Duarte, the tight end from Santa Ana Mater Dei who committed to UCLA, will take an official recruiting visit to USC this weekend, Coach Bruce Rollinson said.

USC has not yet offered a scholarship but has stayed in touch.

Duarte was The Times’ player of the year.
