Arleta High’s football team has been honored by the City Section for having the highest grade-point average among football teams in the Los Angeles Unified School District this past season. The GPA was 3.1.

‘It’s pretty exciting,’ Coach Dan Kelley said. ‘It’s a great accomplishment. We really work hard toward making sure our kids are eligible and doing their part in the classroom.’
