Cross country: Sarah Baxter is the Gatorade national runner of the year
Sarah Baxter of Simi Valley has been named the Gatorade national runner of the year in girls' cross country.
She was presented her award on Friday at school with a surprise visitor, track star Allyson Felix.
Baxter, a junior, hasn't lost a cross country race in high school during her three-year varsity career.
