Boys’ basketball: Tournament begins at six City Section sites

Huntington Park, Hamilton, LACES, Panorama and Roybal are the sites for a 48-team tournament that begins on Wednesday.

Birmingham, Dorsey, View Park, Fremont, Garfield and Carson are among the teams entered. The championshp game is Saturday at 7 p.m. at Huntington Park.

At Huntington Park: 10 a.m., Port of LA vs. Maywood; 11:30 a.m., New Millennium vs. HPCR; 1 p.m., Banning vs. Franklin; 2:30 p.m.; Wilson vs. Locke; 4 p.m., Roosevelt vs. Gardena; 5:30 p.m., Fremont vs. Jordan; 7 p.m., Pioneer vs. Washington; 8:30 p.m., Marquez vs. Huntington Park.

At Hamilton: 10 a.m,, Douglas vs. Hamilton; 11:30 a.m., Danzler vs. Middle College; 1 p.m., Monroe vs. View Park; 2:30 p.m., Eagle Rock vs. Venice; 4 p.m., Dorsey vs. Birmingham; 5:30 p.m., Jefferson vs. Hamilton.

At Roybal: 10 a.m., Annenberg vs. RFK; 11:30 a.m., Contreras vs. Mendez; 1 p.m., Lincoln vs. Garfield; 2:30 p.m., Hawthorne vs. Torres; 4 p.m., Ribet vs. Hollywood; 5:30 p.m., Reseda vs. Roybal.

At LACES: 6 p.m., Belmont vs. Carson; 7:30 p.m., Sterns vs. LACES.

At Panorama: 10 a.m., SOCES vs. Van Nuys; 11:30 a.m., Northridge vs. Panorama.
