There will be no lack of top players in Saturday’s all-day Fairfax State Preview Classic at Fairfax High.

From Orange Lutheran’s Payton Banks (Penn State) to St. John Bosco’s Isaac Hamilton (UTEP), from Santa Monica’s Jordan Mathews (California) to Bishop Montgomery’s Lamond Murray Jr. (Pepperdine), the talent level will be outstanding. There’s also El Camino Real’s Michael Thomas (Hawaii), Brentwood’s Leland King (Pennsylvania), Price’s Chance Murray (Arizona State), Windward’s Jordan Wilson (Northern Colorado) and top juniors, such as Loyola’s 7-footer Thomas Welsh and St. John Bosco’s Daniel Hamilton.

The schedule: Rolling Hills Prep vs. Brentwood, 9:30 a.m.; Price vs. San Diego Parker, 11 a.m.; Harvard-Westlake vs. Gardena Serra, 12:30 p.m.; Alemany vs. Windward, 2 p.m.; Santa Monica vs. Compton, 3:30 p.m.; Orange Lutheran vs. Woodland Hills El Camino Real, 5 p.m.; Bishop Montgomery vs. San Diego Lincoln, 6:45 p.m.; Loyola vs. St. John Bosco, 8:15 p.m.
