Boys' basketball: St. John Bosco wins opener in Missouri

Playing in a tournament in Missouri, Bellflower St. John Bosco received 21 points from Isaac Hamilton, 12 from Tyler Dorsey and 11 from Daniel Hamilton in a 74-53 win over Prestonwood.

Corona Centennial improved to 19-1 and 4-0 in the Big VIII League after a 69-60 win over Corona Roosevelt. Sedrick Barefield scored 18 points and Sam Finley 17.
