Boys' basketball: St. John Bosco hangs on for win over Loyola

January 26, 2013 | 10:23 pm

St. John Bosco had trouble holding on to a 12-point fourth-quarter lead, but the Braves still were able to prevail over Loyola, 67-64, in the Fairfax State Preview Classic.

Tyler Dorsey scored 23 points and had 15 rebounds. Isaac Hamilton had 16 points and Daniel Hamilton 15.

Trey Mason scored 28 points for Loyola, making six three-pointers.

It was a frantic finish, but a basket by Darien Williams with 13 seconds left sealed the victory.
