Boys’ basketball: Redondo serves notice with near upset

Redondo and first-year Coach Reggie Morris have been keeping a low profile, but on Saturday night, the Sea Hawks gave No. 2-ranked Bishop Montgomery all it could handle before losing, 60-58.

Ian Fox and Derek Biale are the team’s two returning standouts. Redondo is 7-8, but it has played some tough opponents, and Saturday’s performance is a clear indication that Redondo could be a Bay League title contender.
