Boys' basketball: Mater Dei loses for the first time
Santa Ana Mater Dei's 20-game win streak this season came to an end in Lakewood, Ohio, on Monday night when the Monarchs were beaten by St. Edward, 58-44. The Monarchs had won 41 consecutive games over two seasons.
Stanley Johnson had 16 points and 11 rebounds for Mater Dei (20-1).
