Boys' basketball: Jordan McLaughlin is back for Etiwanda

Teams had their chance to beat Etiwanda when standout junior guard Jordan McLaughlin was recovering from an ankle injury. Now McLaughlin is back and the Eagles (10-2) are going to be very tough to knock off the rest of the way.

McLaughlin had 15 points in his second game back on Tuesday during Etiwanda's 53-44 win over Upland in a Baseline League opener.

Rancho Cucamonga defeated Glendora, 76-53. Malcolm Drumwright and Victor Joseph each scored 22 points.

Corona Centennial defeated Corona, 84-59. Sam Finley scored 23 points. Sedrick Barefield and Deontae North scored 16 points apiece.

Price defeated Buckley, 75-66. Jalen Woods scored 17 points.

Oak Park defeated Santa Clara, 77-46. Ron Lee Jr. and J.D. Slajchert each scored 19 points. Kaelan Hicks had 10 points and 11 rebounds off the bench.

Village Christian defeated Whittier Christian, 71-38.
