Boys' basketball: A big weekend for Bishop Montgomery

Unbeaten Torrance Bishop Montgomery (17-0), ranked No. 2 by The Times, faces a challenging Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, Bishop Montgomery faces host Gardena Serra in a 5 p.m. Del Rey League showdown. On Saturday at 7 p.m., Bishop Montgomery travels to Bellflower St. John Bosco to face in the Braves in a 7 p.m. game as part of the Braves/Jester Basketball Showcase.

Lakewood St. Joseph is playing Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at St. John Bosco.
