Baseball: It’s time for alumni games

Alumni baseball games are starting to take place.

Simi Valley’s alumni game is Saturday at noon, followed by a poker tournament in the evening (no word yet if Coach Matt La Belle is playing in either, though he’s a Newbury Park grad).

Quartz Hill will play its alumni game on Feb. 16, with batting practice at 10 a.m. (the alumni always needs batting practice) and the game beginning at 11 a.m.

Sylmar is having its alumni game on Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. Grant is having its alumni game on Feb. 9.
