Girls' basketball: Coco Miller has 30 points for JSerra

Sophomore point guard Coco Miller scored 30 points and junior center Courtney Vaccher added 14 as JSerra cruised past Thousand Oaks, 69-44, in the consolation final at the Oaks Christian tournament.

The Lions (11-3) led 30-22 at halftime.

Sophomore forward Alexa Coubal scored 12 of her 16 points in the second half and senior guard Sarah Dempsey finished with 11 points for Thousand Oaks (10-5).

Newbury Park beat Marlborough 53-35 to take 11th place, Oak Park defeated Santa Maria St. Joseph 70-58 in the 13th-place game and Taft beat West Valley League rival Chatsworth 42-39 for 15th place.
