Football: Venice’s Tayon Blockmon is Western League MVP

Junior linebacker Tayon Blockmon from Venice has been selected the player of the year from the Western League.

The offensive player of the years were junior quarterback Alexander Diamont of Venice and junior running back Alijah Lee of Venice. The defensive player of the year was defensive end Chaunce Hill of Fairfax. The offensive lineman of the year was Nathan Breal of Palisades. The defensive lineman of the year was junior Jameel Baker of University.
