Football: St. Paul hires Rick Zepeda as new coach

Rick Zepeda, a former St. Paul assistant coach who was an assistant last season at St. John Bosco, has been hired as St. Paul’s new head coach.

The school fired Elijah Asante in the middle of last season.

Zepeda, a 1988 St. Paul grad, coached under Marijon Ancich at both the freshman and varsity level. He also was a former head coach at El Rancho.
