Representatives from Ventura St. Bonaventure, Westlake Village Oaks Christian and La Verne Damien presented their arguments on Friday to the Southern Section office appealing the decision to place the schools in the parochial area for the 2014-18 releaguing cycle. Also making a presentation was Glendora St. Lucy’s.

Unless the decision is changed, St. Bonaventure and Oaks Christian would have to leave the Marmonte League for all sports beginning in 2014. Damien also would have to join a league of private schools.

‘I felt they all did a good job presenting,’ Southern Section Commissioner Rob Wigod said.

The Southern Section is expected to decide in January whether to change the placement plan.
