Football: Serra wants to end season on high note

Gardena Serra is set to take on Oakdale in the CIF state championship Division II bowl game at Home Depot Center.

After beating Edison 27-10 in last week's south regional bowl game, Serra (13-2) enters as a big favorite over the Sac-Joaquin Section champion Mustangs (14-1), who upset Clayton Valley in the north regional bowl.  

The Cavaliers, who won the Southern Section Western Division title, won the coin toss and will receive the opening kickoff.
