Sorry, UCLA fans, there will be no last-minute change of heart for Harbor City Narbonne quarterback Troy Williams, the two-time City Section player of the year.

A longtime Washington commit, Williams has stuck with the Huskies despite continued interest from the Bruins, and he said on Sunday he’ll be leaving for Seattle on Jan. 1 to begin classes a week later. He graduated from Narbonne this past week.

Williams will participate in Washington’s spring practice and try to impress. Based on his final game against Corona Centennial, when he passed for 367 yards and ran for 105 yards, he’ll have plenty to offer.
