Football: Narbonne wins City Section Division I championship

For the second consecutive season, Narbonne has won the City Section Division I championship, and this time the Gauchos did it with a smothering defensive performance in a 25-0 victory over Crenshaw at East Los Angeles College.

Johnell Jackson rushed for 159 yards in 26 carries and scored on a 57-yard touchdown run Troy Williams completed nine of 17 passes for 108 yards and one touchdown.

Narbonne is 14-0 and will learn Sunday its opponent for next week's CIF regional Open Division bowl game.

The Gauchos had two interceptions on the night and limited Crenshaw quarterback Ajene Harris to 69 yards passing.
