Football: Edison leads 10-7 at halftime

December 8, 2012 |  8:36 pm

Edison controlled the ball for nearly 19 of the 24 minutes in the first half and the Chargers lead Gardena Serra, 10-7, at halftime of the CIF state regional Division II bowl game at Orange Coast College.

The Chargers racked up 10 first downs to Serra's four and Donald Rice has 48 yards in 13 carries.

The Cavaliers had the ball three times in the first half. They turned it over on downs on their first drive, scored on the second and punted on the third. Serra gets the ball first in the second half.
