Football: Corona del Mar 7, Garden Grove 0

The CIF Southern Section Southern Division final is underway at Angel Stadium in Anaheim and it didn't take long for top-seeded Corona del Mar to get on the scoreboard against third-seeded Garden Grove.

On the very first play from scrimmage, Sea Kings linebacker Alexander Moore intercepted a pass by Garden Grove quarterback Angel Martinez and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown.

Corona del Mar has yet to allow a point in the playoffs.
