Football: Coaching openings are piling up

With the resignations this week of Pat Degnan (Quartz Hill) and Brent McKee (Anaheim Canyon), the football coaching resignations are picking up steam.

There are openings at El Dorado, Fountain Valley, Esperanza, Antelope Valley, West Ranch, Valley View, Pasadena, Rim of the World, Etiwanda, Lakeside, Mountain View, Verbum Dei and Riverside Poly.

The Tesoro job also is expected to be opened up.
