It was wild, it was dramatic, and Corona Centennial has won the CIF Open Division regional game with a 41-34 victory over Narbonne.

Tre Watson caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Robert Webber with 22 seconds left.

Narbonne had tied the game, 34-34, with 1:09 left on an A.J. Richardson three-yard touchdown run. Richardson got hurt on the TD, and he’s holder on PATs, so Narbonne went for a two-point conversion run, but Troy Williams was stopped short.

Webber led the Huskies on a final drive, firing his fourth touchdown pass of the night. He completed 20 of 37 passes for 317 yards. He also ran for 73 yards.

Williams led Narbonne back from a 27-8 halftime deficit. He completed 28 of 37 pases for 367 yards and three touchdowns. He ran for 105 yards in 11 carries.

Centennial will play Concord De La Salle next Saturday at the Home Depot Center.
