Boys' basketball: Tra Holder scores 37 points in triple overtime thriller

What a Santa Monica tournament for junior guard Tra Holder of Brentwood. He scored 37 points on Saturday night to rally his team from a 14-point deficit entering the fourth quarter against City Section power El Camino Real and enabled the Eagles (7-1) to pull out a 78-75 victory in three overtimes.

Holder also had 34 points in a loss to Loyola. Leland King added 20 points and 15 rebounds. Michael Thomas had 23 points for El Camino Real, including a tip at the buzzer that sent the game into a second overtime.
