Boys’ basketball: Robert Cartwright leads Flintridge Prep to upset win

Flintridge Prep and junior guard Robert Cartwright are going to get lots of attention this season.

Cartwright scored 33 points to help Flintridge Prep hand Pasadena La Salle its first defeat, 70-67, on Tuesday night.

Flintrdge Prep (3-2) competes in 5AA. It lost by a single point to Westlake Village Westlake and its other loss is to unbeaten Newhall Hart.

Freshman Milan Acquuah scored 28 points for La Salle (4-1) and freshman Vance Jakcson had 19.
