Boys' basketball: Mission Viejo improves to 15-0

What a month of December of the Mission Viejo boys' basketball team, which improved to 15-0 on Friday after a 77-67 victory over Rancho Cucamonga.

Evan Zeller scored 24 points and had 10 rebounds. The versatile Max Redfield added 20 points and eight rebounds.

Malcolm Drumwright led Rancho Cucamonga (12-3) with 26 points.

The Diablos have a real shot at finishing unbeaten during the regular season. They compete in Southern Section Division 1AA.
