Boys' basketball: Learning to coach as teenagers

December 3, 2012 |  9:23 am

Four varsity basketball players at Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro aren't just learning basketball by playing basketball. They're listening to their coach. And they''ve volunteered to coach youth basketball teams at Toberman Recreation Center.

Jayln Morgan, Victor Pinto-Galindo, Jordan Bonner and Dorian Garcia are trying to get their youth players to work as hard as they do.

"It's very impressive to see them work so well with the youth," Coach Peter Riehl said.

Two of the teams could be playing for championships.
